When will we see Jay Bruce?

Any ideas on when he's getting called up? I don't want to stash him if it won't be until later in the summer, but does anyone have an idea if he'll be called up in the next few weeks?

im betting sooner rather than later. once may hits, the arbitration clock starts the following year, so with patterson not doing too much, bruce may very well take his spot. only problem i see with that is that cinci wouldnt have a leadoff hitter (not that patterson is a proto-typical leadoff hitter anyway).

....and, IMO the reds won't bring him up unless it is a trade of dunn or griffey because bruce is not on the 40 man roster and if they brought him up w/o trading a player, they would have to waive a player to bring him up..look for a dunn or griffey trade early june

I saw Bruce play last night against my Richmond Braves and his swing looked good, he didn;t have any hit, but had a deep sacrifice play to put them comfortably ahead. Louisville Bats are full of old major leaguers: Jose (K machine) Hernandez, Todd Coffey (awful last night) Andy Phillips

Anyway I wasn't overly impressed with Bruce, but he certainly has the tools to produce in the bigs, but I don't think the hype is valid. I saw Longoria, much better ball player!
