Ryan Howard is back! Its not just because he hit a home run tonight but you can tell by the atbats and swings he is getting. I watch almost every phillies game and howard just didn't look comfortable at the plate. he wasn't seeing the ball and looked awful. over the last week (starting in pitts), he has been getting a lot of better swings. He crushed one last night to center but i think it had to much top spin and it was caught. then tonight he hit one off the wall (oppo) and pulled one out to right. both atbats were both against a lefty (wolf and a rp) and howard has had a lot more trouble with lefites. he is batting almost 100 pts higher on his career against rh's than lh's. with the way burrell is hitting behind him. i could easily see a double digit hr month in may.
