Braves rotation is just a little below average I would say. And yes, this would be a shitty playoff rotation. The Braves beat-writer mentioned that Smoltz could possibly start in the playoffs and just pitch til his arm falls off--Smoltz is the type of guy who would do something like this too.

Atlanta has one ace (who has been off and on this season...did have a spectacular outing today v CIN) and then they are counting on Jurijens, a young unpredictable pitcher, to keep it up. PHIL rotation has a lot more stability, especially with Hamels and Myers. Those two along far outweigh the Braves shotty rotation. They need Smoltz as a starter.
