Just found this on Sporting News:
Phil Hughes says that while he has "above average" eyesight, he experiences blurriness in night games at certain stadiums because of glare from the lights.
Fantasy spin: Hughes has pitched in one day game so far this season, and his ERA was exactly the same as it is at night: 9.00. Being blinded by the light seems like the least of his problems at this point, with poor control and decreased velocity being at the top.
Not a good sign when the excuses start to fly...
