Just found this on Sporting News:

Phil Hughes says that while he has "above average" eyesight, he experiences blurriness in night games at certain stadiums because of glare from the lights.
Fantasy spin: Hughes has pitched in one day game so far this season, and his ERA was exactly the same as it is at night: 9.00. Being blinded by the light seems like the least of his problems at this point, with poor control and decreased velocity being at the top.

Not a good sign when the excuses start to fly... :-t

A very good day for this Hughes owner. I'm in a keeper league and I can't drop him so a DL stint is the best way for me to get someone productive to take his place. Finding another roster worthy pitcher...that's another story...

Wasn't Hughes throwing like 95 when he first came up last season? I notice he only throws in the low 90's now.

Actually gained nearly a MPH on his fastball this year:

SCROLL. Nice feature on FanGraphs showing pitch type and speed...
