I notice that Pence hit in the 2 spot today. Do you guys think he will be moved up in the lineup more often in the future? I am contemplating picking him up to replace Hawpe in my OF. If he would move up in the lineup it would make it a no brainer (maybe it should be anyhow). Any inside info?

I believe he lead off... but that is much better than hitting 6th or 7th. I wouldnt count on him hitting earlier than 6th much this yr because of their lineup. The only reason he was in the top of the order is because RJ was pitching and Bourn doesnt hit lefties.
It was a little odd that he lead off instead of Kaz Matsui.
Maybe a Houston homer could clear things up a bit more.

As long as they have Kaz and Bourn in the line-up, no way will he moving up. I was expecting high things from this guy, but hitting in front of Loretta isn't a pretty sight. I mean the numbers will still be there, but not as good if he was hitting 2nd like last year.
