From Denver Post:

Help was on the way in the form of infielder Omar Quintanilla, who was flying Tuesday night from Triple-A Colorado Springs to take Wells' roster spot. It's possible third baseman Ian Stewart could be in the mix for a quick promotion as well when the dust settles, depending on the seriousness of Tulowitzki's leg problem. Jayson Nix, designated for assignment, also clears waivers today, so he could be a possibility since he's still working out with the team.

Looks like a DL stint is likely for Tulo.

Rockies head athletic trainer Keith Dugger said Tulowitzki will fly to Denver on Wednesday morning, and the club hopes to arrange an MRI for him by the afternoon. He's likely to be placed on the 15-day disabled list.

Least if this happens then I can stop saying to myself "I want to sit him but I can't make myself do it". Least he was a FA last year and cost my 21st rounder to keep this year, wonder how the bozos who paid a 4th rounder feel? :*)

14 team league so just hit the wire and grabbed Yuni Betancourt. Hope he can at least help fix the average hits of Tulo and Cano so far.

My Yahoo! blurb suggests he may not be put on the DL until Saturday, since they won't need another starting pitcher till then.

Per Rotowire:

May 1 Tulowitzki still isn't sure if he injured his quadriceps or hip flexor, the Denver Post reports.

Recommendation: He underwent an MRI on Wednesday and the results weren't immediately available. Tulowitzki will probably be placed on the 15-day DL prior to Saturday's game, because the Rockies need to activate a starting pitcher. Clint Barmes should receive the bulk of the playing time at shortstop in Tulowitzki's absence, with support from Jon Herrera and Omar Quintanilla.
