Will Looper get many saves for the Mets this season?

If he stays closer then yeah he is good for at least 30 but his era and whip could be very very high.

The good news is....i don't see him being challenged too quickly by anyone inside the organization...in 2004 anyway. The bad news..is he doesn't have the usual live crazy arm of a closer..yet seems to get the job done.

He could easily get 30+ saves, but might have a 3.8 era or higher and definitely a 1.3 whip or higher....and not tons of K's.

I don't usually focus too much on my closers era and whip... as long as they are putting up the S's, the 1 inning wont effect your other numbers as much.

I believe he will have a good year. Should get alot of chances and hopefully will succeed in the role.
