Exactly, those guys are FAs so no waiver needed and more importantly Gio is likely to not be called up this year. I have him on my watch list though. Homer Bailey is already owned and so is Bruce. I think Rasmus would have a hard time finding PT with that logjammed OF.

Hmmm...I could see the A's call up Gio later in the year if he performs well down in AAA. Some others to watch for that might make a big league splash at some point are: Nick Adenhart, Daniel McCutchen, Kevin Mulvery, Anthony Swarzak, Daryl Thompson, David Hernandez and Jamie Garcia.
