if that 30 lbs is muscle, then lo duca could very well add onto his homer totals from the past couple years. remember last year, when nobody seemed to care about javy lopez getting in shape? now i dont quite expect lo duca to hit 40+ homers, but i do feel an improvement in his production coming. thanks for the info pmoston.
How many 32 yr old men put on 30 pounds of muscle in an offseason?
any 32 yearold man who goes to a gym during an offseason can add 30 lbs or more. the offseason is near 6 months long. anyone who says you cant add 30 lbs in a gym over 6 months with a mixture of personal drive and the insanely advanced supplements availble to the public is very uninformed on the topic of weight lifting.

If you think a body can gain 30 pounds of muscle in 6 months naturally by having mental drive and protein shakes your wayyyyyyy off. Sorry bro, you're the one that's misinformed about weight lifting. Many people can't gain 30 pounds of muscle NATURALLY in their life time.
Adding 30 pounds of muscle in 6 months is genetically impossible, unless you are on steriods. On the other hand 30 pounds of fat can eaisily be added in 6 months. If he is a fat a$$ then it makes him even less valuable, and I do not think he can even get any less valuable.
He's not on any of my draft sheets, and this guarantees that he won't make it on the final copies.
Thanks for the heads up.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
LoDuca is a guy who got where he is by hard work, having to overcome negative perceptions assocaited with his height and unatheltic appearance. I fail to believe that guy who has worked that hard to be an MLB player suddenly lets himself go to that extent. It is quite right that you can pack on that much muscle in one off-season with lots of gym time and supplements. I'm sure the idea is to build muscle to increase power and avoid the annula body breakdown that experiences. If he really did pack on 30 lbs, I would bet it is almost all muscle. I think this could make hima viable starting catcher in a 12 team league, not just a bench guy.
