Is it me or is this guy vastly overrated? I think Reid is another example of the Cal league bumping the stock a hitting prospect way to much. He has nice power potential from the SS position but the BA (.255) over his past 606 AB (last year & this year) stinks. If this guy hits .250ish is AA and AAA, what does that translate to the majors? I'm thinking of droping him for Hellickson. What do others in the cafe think about Reid?

I think he is overrated. I traded him last year for Dustin Pedroia because of his stock though.

I just dropped him and added Brett Anderson. Reid might turn out to be a bum.

Brignac had a great 06, but I don't think he becomes a star player in the bigs. His defense is improving and he does have some power, but he looks to be more of a 20 homer, 250 average SS with average defensive skills. Nothing there to write home about.
