Scherzer, Porcello, Kershaw, etc...

I am in a keeper league and am following a few of these up-and-coming studs. Sherzer just got called up. I know has been lights out in AAA. I already have Kershaw on my 40 man roster and hope to add Sherzer with the #3 WW pick. How good is he going to be?!? I see he is a few years older than Porcello and Kershaw...both who have had way more hype. If all works out for these guys, is he going to be just as good?!?

Scherzer had top of rotation stuff imo and is ready now. i rank the three of them Porcello/Kershaw/Scherzer in my rankings but that is no slight to Scherzer at all. all 3 could anchor a rotation.

Scherzer has more polish since he has more experience at an advanced level. I keep hearing people say that he is better suited for the pen but I disagree. I never agree with scouts when they label a pitcher as better suited for the pen or whatever without seeing what he can do against big leaguers as a starter.

In terms of ceiling I would go with Porcello, Kershaw and Scherzer in that order. However, a bird in hand is worth two in the bush.
