I am the commishner of one of my leagues and I think it will most likely be a roto-league. My question is how excatly does the scoring work? I will be using the standard Yahoo categories. 5 for Hitters and 5 for pitchers.

Just 1 last question. Forexample, 12 points like you said. Lets say my team wins that week in Homeruns. The next week Someone else is ahead in that category. Do I get to keep those points or do I lose the points.
Thanks!

The points are part of an ongoing process. You do not gain or keep points by the week in a Roto 5x5 league. If you are looking to gain a certain amount of points in a week you want a Head to Head league.
You can have a H2H league with typical roto categories.
PS. Maybe it is because I am tired, but am I seeing basketball players in your signature?!

BTW- I have been in a basketball mood since Football season is over and Baseball hasn't started yet. Right now I am in the Middle of Fantasy Basketball (actually more towards the end)
During the baseball season I will change my signiture and avatar to baseball

You may be the last Knick fan who still likes Houston.

because houston's contract is ruining the team. The knicks will have hardly any financial flexibility for a couple more years because of that overpaid jerk. Meanwhile, he hasn't even played since the end of january. He doesn't deserve a 100 million dollar contract.
