Thanks for the update. Yeah his too old to be throwing 100+ pitches per game. If you need a Closer, in 2-4 weeks, his your man. :-L

Well, I'm not going to annoint him as my closer yet - I have to hope that he will end up starting again, but I really don't like where this is heading...couldn't be worse news right now for my fantasy team.

I think Smoltz will do anything he can help the team out at this point in his career. To me I just want him to be back. Yeah I did draft him as a starter, but as long as he is out there getting points I could care less what role he has. ;-D
