Very well written and exactly what I've been thinking for a while.

Good read. I'm just wondering, anyone know why the jays didn't try to trade the big hurt? I'm sure they could've gotten some sort of draft pick.

I would agree saying that the PR hit and the fans that would boycott the team are the biggest reasons for not signing. Personally, I am a Cardinals fan and the last two years LaRussa has brought up trying to sign Bonds. Personally, I would be very upset as I really dislike Bonds. Would I go so far as not attending games? Maybe. I live over 3 hours away from the stadium and have attended about 15-20 games in the last 3-4 years. So maybe I woundn't go as often I don't know. It would definitely pain me to see Barry in a Cardinals uniform though.
