Yanks announcers backtracking on their report of the NY Times report that Posada is heading to the DL. Stay tuned.

definitely not confirmed, but I think it's heading that way, especially if he's going down to see Mr. Andrews.

I hope the Yanks don't jerk him around like the Phillies did Rollins and put him on the DL if he really needs it.

Posada just said in his interview that he's definitely going on the DL. He looked really, really, upset.

Well, I guess the Yankees have been lying about this injury all season - and we can never, ever trust the Yankees again on any subject whatsoever since they are now proven liars.

Yea, and the yankees tried EXTRA hard to cover up this "lie" by having posada catch two games in a row before today (granted he didn't start in the last one, but still threw out sizemore..), having him penciled in as the starter until 12 minutes before gametime, and also designating Chad Moeller to assignment leaving only ONE catcher on their roster, Molina..

Yea, I'd say the yankees knew about this injury all along...
