Ugh - that really hurts as I have him in both of my money leagues: my roto league where I'm barely hanging onto first place and an ALH2H where I'm heading to the semi-finals next week. Sigh... :-o

What are the early outlooks for '09?
It seems that ball players, that have wrist or hand surgeries, usually take a full year to fully get back to form.

EDIT: I understand the guy hasn't even had surgery yet, I'm just curious. ;-)

I lost Joba and Quentin who were huge there for me for a while.

This is a real bummer for the White Sox. I've been really fortunate to have not owned guys like Quentin, Kinsler, etc... it really sucks when guys who are carrying your team go down. Rafael Furcal is probably the only guy i've lost that's had a big impact on my team. My team's batting average plummeted when he went down.

Guys like Quentin and Kinsler can be replaced easily by taking a hit on your bench... when they get injured before the deadline! %-6

That's two big OF lost for the season (Carlos Lee and Quentin) and Furcal still yet to come back.

Thankfully, I was able to replace Lee with Hawpe, and I'm hoping Ryan Zimmerman stays hot for the remainder of the season.

Man this guy has some tough luck. I thought that he might make it through the season but... There goes the MVP probably.
