Catccher whose been called up by the Jay's to replace Thomas. He's hitting in the 360s in the minors with a homer and owns a .307 major league average. Apparently he can play third as well and I'd think he might get some time at DH. Any chance he'd get enough at bats and do well enough to be a decent pickup in a AL only league or deep 2 catcher mixed?

Diaz handles the bat well, but I don't think he'll get enough ABs with Zaun and Barajas already in the team.

I believe that they were waiting for Adam Lind's neck to feel better before calling him up to help fill the DH hole and get some work in LF. He's starting tonight because Stewart has the flu.
