I'm watching now and was not a believer before this game, he really does have an arsenal. He has been changing speeds with abandon, topping out @ 93 mph and going as low as 68mph with various breaking stuff.
Quiroz just took him deep but Danks has been dominant.

Nice jinx.
Seriously, I don't see a lot in the numbers that would suggest huge year. His K/BB of 16/7 entering today is good but nothing special. If he can continue to keep his homers down (the one to Quiroz was the first of the year) he could be solid, but I don't see dominance coming from him.

The word in Chicago just before the season began was that the coaches said Danks made big strides in learning how to pitch. He is at that age where a guy with a really good arm (which he no doubt has) often shows great growth.
All you doubters can say you doubt he keeps it up. But every good pitcher figures it out at some point. So far this year, he looks like he has figured "it" out.

I'd be willing to bet he doesn't reach either of those marks.
If he wins one out of two of these, you wear a Barbie avatar for a week. Otherwise, I do. deal?
