I'm trying to put together a list of players I've read about that have reported a lot of weight-loss from the offseason or looks a lot 'smaller' coming into camp. Not trying to imply anything in this topic but just want to have them as question marks on my draft list.
Phil Nevin - might not be a bad thing
Jason Giambi
Larry Walker - might not be a bad thing
Vernon Wells
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
I remember during the World Series they mentioned that Dontrelle Willis wore a size 8 hat! But I don't think anything is up there, kid's just got a big head.

why is that?
I believe it has something to do with the fact that pitchers actually hurt their careers by using steroids, in general. Whereas those hitters who take them do so because they need the power to continuously hit homers. Pitchers just tear up their arms using them, to my knowledge. So if I was drafting players, and I knew which ones took steroids, I'd draft the hitters and let someone else draft the pitchers.
