Has anyone heard any news about these guys making it to the majors this year?

Keep an eye on Matt Belisle's start tonight against the Giants. If he struggles against them, he might get demoted and if he is sent down, the Reds might give Josh Fogg his job back or call up Homer Bailey, although Bailey didn't have a particularly good outing yesterday for Louisville.

At this point, everything about the Gonzalez or Bailey being called up is just speculation.

Well said, I don't think the A's are really in any hurry to bring up a guy like Gio just yet. Maybe if they continue to play extremely well for another 4-6 weeks and think he can really help them out, but this year is a wash fro them anyways. Probably a good 2009 candidate.
