Anyone have any info on this guy? I seems like he makes good contact and has some speed. The question is how much playing time will he get in Oak.?

He might get some playing time with Travis Buck on the DL, but the guy got dropped from the one of the worst offensive teams in the baseball, which can never be good. He obviously is not as bad as the 1 for 18 he put up this season with the Giants, but with Thomas now in OAK, they need to find some ABs for Jack Cust as an OF. The good news is that Jack Cust has been horrible this season. I think .270 AVG is reasonable to expect from him, but this is the same guy who could not even get a starting job over Chris Duffy last year in PIT.
