Johjima-Clement

The more I read posts in this cafe & the more baseball I watch which is over 35 years the more I realize we the public really seem to know more than these GM's & owners.The Mariners are about to sign Johjima to a 3 year extension.Correct me if I'm wrong what has this guy done ? I am not a Mariner fan nor a Clement or Johjima owner just somebody who loves to watch baseball.I have watched Kenji plenty & have read alot about Clement. Clement is the future.So what now call up Clement & let him be the DH,trade him or let him waste away in the minors ?Its really a joke.

Evidently it's not difficult to impress Mariner upper-management. Play the worst baseball of your career = earn a contract extension.

Man, I thought this was a joke. Johjima is doing absolutely horrible this year. In my keeper league, I got a couple of crappy catchers and drafted Clement in hopes that he would be starting in 2009. Clement is tearing it up in AAA, bad move my management imo.

I would imagine that Clement will still play enough games at Catcher to be eligible at that position. I hope so anyways
