"Soriano, who is currently on the disabled list with a sore right elbow, said that he plans to throw a bullpen session on Saturday or Sunday. If all goes well, the 28-year-old right-hander is hoping to be activated early next week." http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd ... p&c_id=mlb
Apr 26 Soriano (elbow) says he'll be ready for the Braves' two-game series at Washington that starts Tuesday, even though he hasn't thrown a bullpen session since April 6, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. He has been throwing off flat ground in recent days.
Recommendation: A return on Tuesday sounds overly optimistic, but the Braves do say he won't need a minor league rehab assignment before he returns. We'd like to see him throw off a mound again before we're confident he'll be back.
