Jermaine Dye left tonight's game with a strained groin. Yankees broadcasters just said it.

RF Jermaine Dye (left groin strain) left the April 24 game in the seventh inning. He is considered day-to-day but is not expected to play April 25.

That's really all I got from Yahoo. Doesn't seem too serious, but then again, they rarely make it sound as serious as it really is.

Jermaine Dye, OF, White Sox

Dye suffered a strained left groin during the 7-6 win over the Yankees.

Analysis: Dye's absence will extend through the start of a series with the Orioles that begins on Friday night, according to White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen. "He not playing [Friday]," Guillen said. "He's fine. It's not a big deal. But it's my rule -- if you get taken out, you get another day."
