Salty call up....

much to my surprise salts is getting the call , which goes against everything the team had been saying. but the way theyve played the past few weeks i think all bets are off and anything goes.

however.... i don't expect salty to get much time at first. the team has said that his value is at catcher and his future will be there. only way i see him playing first is if the team trades or releases botts or broussard. again though, theres no telling what they will do at this point

I had him on my roster and like most, I dropped him...and now added him again. I'm tempering my expectations with Laird in the picture and the playing time factor but he was doing pretty well as in Bricktown so we'll see what happens.

Just an FYI to everyone its apparently still not official that salty is being called up, he's just been called to the metroplex in case melhuse wont be able to play then he will be called up.
But frankly i expect him to be called up officially today

Healthy or not , Melhuse shouldn't even be playing over Salty. Hopefully Salty stays up in the bigs for the rest of the year...

I already have Mccann but in a keeper league he would probably have some value. I might just pick him up and try to trade him to a weak C team.

GM John daniels has now confirmed to the fort worth star telegram, salty will be active tonight.
still pending a roster move but they say he will be on the 25man and in uniform for tonights game


he's worth a pickup if you have someone droppable but dont go dropping a needed player for him just yet, as the status of melhuse is still in the air and he hasnt been dl'd yet/
