Swisher hitting 6th tonight with O-Cab leading off.

I was one that was big on Swisher this year moving to Chicago but hitting 1st has really hurt his value. Hopefully this move will be a permannet one although I would prefer to see him hitting 5th after Konerko and before Dye giving the Sox 2-3-4-5-6 with right-left-right-left combos.

I'm going to disagree with that. He doesn't suck, if you're looking for him to carry your team than you suck but he will score some runs and hit for a little power that's all any reasonable person ever wanted from him anyway. He should be owned.

Definitely frustrated with him at the moment but I'm also glad to see him out of the leadoff spot. Maybe now he can go back to hitting HRs instead. :-{

He'll come around. It's crazy but I was actually thrilled to see him batting 6th. Normally you'd want your guys getting all the ABs possible but I agree that hitting 1st hurt his numbers. Unless your league counts walks or OBP, then he hasn't been so bad.

I took Swisher in all three of my leagues because I thought the change of scenery would be good for him. Not too happy by that choice so far and I've been tempted to dump him. Actually, I DID dump him in one because I grabbed Carlos Pena off waivers and got Teixeira in trade, so I didn't need a third 1B (and I have too many OFs as it is).

Anyway, I'll give him a while longer - I hope the change in the batting order makes a difference. :-o
