Two solid young outfielders who have started off well...but who would you want rest of season, Alex Rios or Josh Hamilton? Hamilton's AVG seems to be higher than usual right now, could settle down into the .290 range. Ditto for Rios, who's over .300 right now, but has been a high .200's kind of hitter. Hamilton has Rios on HRs and RBI, they're about even on runs, but Rios seems to run more, has Hamilton on steals. Hamilton has a better BB/K rate. Rios, it seems, has a jusssssst slightly better lineup around him.
Hamilton. I wish I had him, he's just someone I really want to pull for. I mean he went from out of ball for 4 year straight to the bigs and dominated. Not to mention he had never been higher than AA before, amazing freak.

i have both of them on my team, except i got Hamilton like 6 rounds later I here Rios always has a horrible 2nd half.... is this true?? i never looked into it
good thread to start (i should have just found that and bumped it up to-date) but it's a bit dated at this point, last post was still pre-season. one month in, it seems that those who said they'd be pretty similar, with hamilton having an edge in power and rios in steals, are looking smart.
I think Rios plays in a stronger line-up but Hamilton has more overall power/slugger potential. It all depends on what you're looking for, Rios and Hamilton ultimately are the same kind of player but Hamilton has some more power upside.
