Infielder received treatment, listed as day-to-day
DETROIT -- Just when it looked like the Tigers would finally get their entire starting lineup back, another prominent hitter hobbled into their clubhouse.
Carlos Guillen was scratched for Thursday afternoon's series finale against the Rangers with a bruised right knee. He did not dress for the game and received treatment from the athletic training staff throughout the day. He is listed as day-to-day.
"He can't even walk," manager Jim Leyland said. "He might play tomorrow. He might not play for a week."
Bummer.

Based on what I have read, I would say that his chances of playing are virtually nil. The swelling was so bad that he was apparently having difficulty putting his socks on.
