Brandon Inge as catcher

How valuable would this guy be? I play in yahoogames and he needs 1 more game to become available at the "C" spot. Would he even get playing time now that Granderson is back? I dunno if I should drop AJ for him.

I play in Y! as well and I'm keeping an eye on Inge for my AL Only.As of this morning,he needed to play 7 games or start in 3 games to have catcher elegibility.Y! is tricky because the number listed is the games needed to become elegible not the games played.

no idea when Vance Wilson is coming back, so i expect him to catch at least 1 more game...IF the Tigers lineup (especially Sheffield) ever gets healthy i'd expect him to play maybe 2-3 games a week, but if Sheff goes on the DL i'd guess they'd platoon M-Cab and Guillen between 1B/DH and play Brandon at 3B/backup Catcher which would probably give him some nice catcher numbers

Bumpin this thread after Inge starts his 5th game. Any thoughts on where he ranks as a fantasy catcher?

Inge has no starting position, so even with catcher eligibility he doesn't have much value. If one of the regulars goes down and he lands a starting gig, I think he would be a great option at catcher.
