Help - TOO Much Power? Not enough Pitching?

Postby puckin hurricanes » Thu Apr 24, 2008 11:20 am

I need your help. I sticking it to the rest of my league in Runs/HR/RBI's (I have 44 Hr & 2nd place has 31), but I cant find a trade to add SB/W/Saves/Holds?

Ive made at least 10 offers to the 4 most active teams grabbing from the waiver wires, but why wont anyone take a deal?

I would like to hear your suggestions on some fair trade offers to even out my stats.

Your team is very heavy on hitting but this can help you work a deal to strengthen your pitching. If you dont want to lose some of your bigger bats I say that you move someone like Crede. Maybe go for a closer like George Sherrill who should get a lot of save chances and has come up big already this year, and he won't cost you that much. If you move Crede to you can always drop Aramis back to 3B and just replace that Util spot with a hitter thats on fire.

Ive already posted on the league message board that EVERYONE is open for discussion.

I tried to play Crede/Ibanez for Holliday/Brian Wilson

or

Crede for Issrinhausen.

Not sure if either will bite, but I will continue to shop.

Try Crede for Rich Hill or Chris Young.

Fuentes was just named the new closer. You could pick him up and that would help in Saves.

Help???

In a normal scoring league, fuentes would have been a freebird. But with Holds on the line, even those pitchers are tough to come by.

Its sickening how bad Im killin this league in batting catecories. My squad had almost RBI last week alone.

I would trade burrel/ramirez/crede in a heartbeat If I could to bring in a pitcher but nobody is biting and I can only show so much desperation.
