Has really cooled off lately. Does anyone think he can hit for a decent average this year? If he can hit for an even modest average he will be terror on the base paths, but if this slump continues it might be hard to justify keeping him on my team.

he hit a home run to lead off the game today. i dropped him today, but still got the homerun so it was a nice little bonus. i'm going to keep my eye on him if he starts getting on base again.

The sad part is, he is the 4th Twins player to register a HR this year.

there's no way in hell he's getting sent down. They need his speed in the top of the order, even if he's batting .230 he'll stay in the lineup. Gardenhire has made that much pretty clear.

Well, Gomez just left early in the Rangers/Twins game. He was running to first on a bunt and pulled up at the end... looks like a hamstring.

It doesn't matter how fast you are if you can't get on base.
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.

Gardenhire really doesn't value OBP skills that much. Gomez's speed will blind him enough to where he'll keep him at leadoff. That's when healthy of course. Looks like a hamstring strain so he might have a few days off or a stint on the DL.
Kudos to GiantsFan14 for the sig.

CBS is reporting a calf strain and calling him questionable for Sat. and Sun.
