Somebody needs to teach him to take a pitch. This is ridiculous. Every time I have watched this guy at the plate, he swings at the first pitch. It seems like I will turn the game on and he is ALWAYS down 0-2 in the count. I think he is trying way too hard right now. The only thing that gives me confidence is that he is still showing some power. Is this how he was successful last year? (Jumping on first pitches and making contact?) I dont remember.

Head on over to Game Commentary/Venting for, uh, venting!
