this thread is about why Ryam Howard is slumping and Seinfeld jokes

sorry if my post was confusing. i wasnt looking for trade advice, just letting the OP know that im looking into trading for him and that his low BA isn't likely to change. and the dating quote is a seinfeld joke ;-D

He's a career .280+ - I imagine it will change fairly significantly for the better - in time...

Yea, but, I'm not SO sure, he isn't looking so hot now, his swing looks off, and maybe people are figuring him out a bit.

i feel that his '06 avg was a bit of a fluke and '07 will be closer what to expect from now on. he has a big uppercut swing, causing lots of swings and misses. hard to keep a high avg with that. but maybe i'm wrong. he has 140 games to go before we know for sure :-D

or were you talking about ryam?

There was a pretty large discussion last year on him being unable to maintain a high AVG given his K rate. He'll likely never see .300 again, but I'd take .270 if he'd start hitting homers...

How long did it take him last year to get going? I remember going through this last year but I do not think it was this bad.
