Outside of BJ Ryan is there any empirical evidence to support this claim? I know I'm a homer, but honestly it was only 1 player, 1 time. As a fan, I share your frustration, but don't go making claims that will lead people to make foolish conclusions.

Most clubs are very "obscure" and "illusive" when it comes to injuries... I'll keep it to the AL East to prove my point:

Tampa Bay: Rocco Baldelli,... Baldelli's a tragic case of a club almost being afraid to admit the truth until they had no choice to
