According to WIP Radio in Philadelhia, Phillies SS Jimmy Rollins has a broken ankle.

Could be a huge blow.

It depends on the severity. Sometimes a broken bone is better than a sprain. It is also possible to play on a broken ankle.

I can't find a confirmation that doesn't quote that source.

Also, for what it is worth, When I read this post, I started streaming 610WIP Philly sports radio. Standard radio talk, no mention of Rollins injury. They just did a sports news update with NO news on Rollins.

No news is just no news. Doesn't mean it isn't true, but it clearly hasn't broken in Philly yet.

Oops, hit Submit too fast. The station I'm listening to is the same one that was reported in the first post of the thread. Surprised if they did report it previously that they aren't still talking about it.
