Carlos Guillen and Miggy switching.

I know there was already a post about Miggy, but they left out the fact that Guillen is going to be getting 3B elig. Does this help him at all, or is he just good for his SS elig?

Same question about Miggy. Does 1B help him with how deep of a position it already is?

I don't know if this helps Guillen's actual fantasy value so much as it might help individual fantasy owners. I know that I can now get rid of bill "whifffff" hall as my 3B backup to Braun because Guillen will provide depth at that position and I'm good on SS and 1B depth. This news was a pleasant surprise this morning...

I think Guillen's 3B eligibililty is adds more value than 1B because 3B is less deep. After the elite 3B, the drop-off is pretty severe so having Guillen in that slot is nice advantage. Of course, the key to Guillen at any position is whether he can stay healthy. Already he's nursing an injury.

i wouldnt expect this to happen now until sheff gets healthy, i think Miggy and Guillen will split time between 1B and DH until (if) Sheff comes back
