All this talk about when Gagne is going to lose his job, but why is nobody talking about Corpas? 6.55 era with 3 blown saves already. Plus they have a better replacement then the Brewers...

Keep an eye on Pizza Face Fuentes. I don't think the change will come soon, but if Corpas can't handle it long term, they could switch spots eventually...

I'm starting to get worried about Corpas, but I don't think a change in the ninth will be coming anytime soon - Fuentes has had struggles of his own the past couple of days, and the Rockies made an investment in Manny with a new contract this offseason. If he continues to struggle like this for an extended period of time a change might be made, but I have faith he'll turn it around.

Yeah I'm worried myself although I seriously doubt they'll make a change. Fuentes has had problems of his own in the past. It's been a little rocky but he's shown flashes this year....I think he'll eventually steady himself.

Corpas was so lights out late last season but this year so far has been a struggle.

Other than highlights I haven't seen him this season. What is the issue? Command? Velocity?

I know Fuentes is no Mariano Rivera but other than one terrible outing versus HOU hasn't he been lights out?

I know COL gave Corpas a longterm deal but they way AZ is playing, COL can't afford to blow saves like they've been.

I'm not worried about a change yet. Fuentes isn't exactly lightin it up. In fact he's cost Corpas 2 saves chances the past couple days. I have only seen him pitch 2 times this year, and both times I watched him he looked great. I don't know what the problem is.

Fuentes has given up 5 hits this year and only had one outing where he gave up ER's. Yes they signed Corpas to a long term deal, but keep in mind Fuentes still makes more than him this year (at $5mm) so the idea that Colorado has a $$ committment to Corpas (like the Gagne situation) is probably not the case. Colorado manager has shown that he has a short leash (Fuentes was an All-Star last year, had one bad week and was replaced) ... so bascially Corpas owners cannot be sleeping well at night
