I would like some imput into my team. This was my first draft, and I hope I did okay. I know that i took some flyers on some players, but here goes:

OF-Bobby Abreu, Juan Gonzalez, Randy Winn
Util-Scott Rolen

SP-Mark Mulder, Jose Contreras
RP-Byung-Hyun Kim, Kelvim Escobar
P-Vincente Padilla, Mike Hampton, Josh Beckett

I don't think Kim is closing this season, you might want to see if there is another closer you can pick up via trade or waiver wire...

how did you land Giambi, Chavez, Rolen, Abreu, and Mulder??? all of those guys should have gone in the 2nd or 3rd rounds especially in a 12 team league... good drafting on your part, or bad on theirs... deal Rolen for a better closer... maybe you could package Rolen and Kim for Percival and Ibanez... you need a back-up for Juan-gone, and Ibanez can play 1B...

Only 3 of us showed up for the live draft, so the auto picks were pretty wheels-off. Do ya'll think that Winn will be a weak link?

i would say keep rolen, you've got 3 first basemen. try picking up a closer off wiavers, if not then try hyping up choi, thomas or winn and deal them for a closer, but for drafting for the first time, good job
