Everyone assumes the move was strickly based on Cabrera, but Guillen looked worse at first base than Cabrera at third. He stepped into the first base line a few times, pulled his foot off the bag early a couple times. I thought any infielder could step in at first base, but he just looks awful there. I believe it's a good switch, and Leyland can care less what Cabrera says right now. He'd have an argument if he played average defensively this year, but he just has to go with the program right now.
