I think the answer to this question should hinge on where you would rank him among the league's shortstops. The Yahoo Sports Mock Draft had him going quite early, like round 7.

Personally I wouldn't draft him ahead of these SS
ARod, Nomar, Jeter, Renteria, Furcal, Cabrera, Tejada.

After that, I think you can start to think about Kaz, whatever round that may be.

i agree with CBM it should matter the round. ignore the rounds, just compare him to the other SS that have been taken. personally i have him behind Arod, Nomar, Jeter, Tejada and Renteria, possibly reyes and cabrera.
