Pujols at 2B?

Postby abrunn11 » Tue Apr 22, 2008 4:39 pm

Pujols moved to secondbase in the bottom of the 9th inning; is this a first? Some leagues have it set up that a player gains elgibility if he play one game at a position. Could you imagine have Pujols at 2B?

I am aware of leagues with one start eligibility, but i don't know about one-game-played eligibility, that would be bogus IMO...

If you only need 1 game at a position and you have Pujols, you are now golden. Absolutely golden.

Wow. :-°

Now Now lets not be silly.

There was this guy name Rogers Hornsby. Here are just a few of his top seasons

1922 .401 Avg . 459 Obp 42 Hr's 152 Rbi's 141 Runs 450 Tb's 17 Sbs

1924 .424 Avg .507 Obp 25 Hr's 94 Rbi's 121 Runs 373 Tb's 5 Sbs

1925 .403 Avg .489 Obp 39 Hrs 143 Rbi's 133 Runs 381 Tb's 5 Sbs

1929 .380 .459 Obp 39 Hrs 149 Rbi's 156 Runs 409 Tb's 2 Sbs

Nothing Pujols has done touches these seasons of the great Rogers Hornsby. Especially '22 & '29

I'm sorry, but you can't compare baseball players 80 years apart. That's just a silly exercise.
