Homer Bailey call-up?

I read this: When it was mentioned that Bailey has allowed three runs over 26 1/3 innings with four walks and 16 strikeouts, Krivsky smiled and said, "That's pretty good."

I would say that Homer is next in line for a call-up. But Harang, Arroyo, Cueto, and Volquez have pretty much gauranteed spots in the rotation. So it would take an injury or an ineffective Matt Belisle for Bailey to get called up. Belisle did not have a good start last night, but he'll be given 3-4 opportunities minimum to show what he has.

Does anyone know if Belisle has an option to send him down to the minors? He just did a rehab assignment down there, but that's different from being optioned down.

belisle was good in his rehab assignment. i dont understand it. maybe its a mental thing. his next start i think is against the giants, so if he struggles there i dont see how he can be left in the rotation. i believe he has some options left, so itll be interesting to see what the reds do. send him down and call up homer or give fogg his spot back.
