I'm pretty sure if someone dialed Bonds' or his agent with a Fisher-Price phone, ESPN would be alllll over it and we'd be nauseated with how much awareness the situation would get. It would be known if anything was goin' down.

i agree w/ Kuji...weeks is the better player.

No MLB team is gonna pass up Frank Thomas over Bonds. Waaaay less baggage for the same results

if u get a chance...viewtopic.php?f=26&t=339443

With Frank Thomas being released...I think the chances of Bonds being picked up have plummeted even further...yes, he's still a better talent than the ancient Thomas...but with his baggage and Thomas' decent power production...any DH-starved team will probably just look to the Big Hurt

This was a ridiculous move
Why don't they just get a house that's already painted?

nobody seems to need a DH nowadays... and if they did they certainly would choose Frank Thomas over bringing the circus in with Bonds.

I don't know about that. Bonds is a far better player than Thomas is these days and both have their issues that teams are concerned about. Bonds has his circus and both have their clubhouse issues. I'd think that a real contender would strongly consider Bonds before Thomas but a middling team probably would play it safe with Thomas or stay away from both. But, I would not be surprised to see Bonds signed first. But, I wouldn't stash either on my fantasy bench until some real rumors start coming out.
