Shawn Hill Justin Duchscherer Nick Blackburn Todd Wellemeyer Brian Burres
Hill is solid as long as he is healthy which is a concern with him, not a good team though so W might be hard to come by. Wellemeyer is not someone I'm buying Blackburn is a matchup type pitcher at best. Duschscherer I cannot comment because of the injuries, no idea what to expect. I'm not buying Burres.
Duchsherer has had good ratios in the past, but the health is a concern!
I'LL THROW ANOTHER PITCHER OUT THERE - Gallaraga from Detroit. Had another decent start tonight, but the Tigers bullpen imploded. I think he could be a solid #4.
On my team, best flavor so far has been Doumit from pitt, great plug in at catcher so far, without going in and actually checkin stats he has to be close to having the best for the position
If there is baseball in heaven!!!! Be very aware of the starting lineup

I'd be curious to hear some thoughts on Ryan Church. He's shown flashes before, but I don't think he's ever been more fantasy relevant than he is right now. Hitting second in the Mets' potent lineup, he should see lots of good pitches and run/RBI opportunities. Can he keep up his torid pace and have a true breakout season in 2008?
Church scored only 57 runs last year in 470 AB (even with a .349 OBP) because of an anemic Nats lineup. He's already scored 22 in 102 AB this year, almost twice his rate last year. He's a good gap hitter by himself, as is evident by 43 doubles last year. He has only 9 XBH this year, but that number should improve. His BA will come down to below .300 and he won't top ~18 homers, but he should have the opportunity to reach 90+ in both runs and RBI.
Rocinante2: you know Rocinante2: its easy to dismiss the orioles as a bad team ofanrex: go on Rocinante2: i'm done Rocinante2: lmao

The Mets are something like 7 - 0 with Church in the 2-hole, so hopefully Willie stops tinkering and just leaves him there. Batting between Reyes and Wright, Church should see quite a few pitches to hit, and I think something to the effect of .282, 17 HR, 90 R, 72 RBI, 4 SB isn't out of the question, if he's batting 2nd all season and healthy.
