My projections for Burrell were around the .270 range with 30 HRs this year. I'm not changing my projections, and have picked him as a great sell high candidate. Anyone staying with this guy, or are you turning him around for a buy low candidate?
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

He's one that I would make sure I'm getting solid value back in return for. He's a prove power bat and hits in a great home park with a great lineup around him. The only thing that will for sure fall is his avg. With that said....I'll sell all day long as long as there is a buyer out there. Its been tough to find buyers in my leagues though.....
I am trying to sell big on him too, but there seems to be little to no takers. I mean the guy, despite his average, will likely hit 35+ HRs with a ceiling of 45 HRs. How many players do this every season (hit in the 40 HR range)? Maybe 10-15? He defintley has some realistic value and should not be sold for something too low, Burrell demands something good in return IMO.

I don't know about 45 home runs being his ceiling. I'd say 40 would be pushing it. There really aren't too many guys that hit 40 in a season. In the last few years there have been about 7-10 guys on average to do it.
One interesting thing about Burrell is that he's been tearing since the 2nd half of 07 (OPS of 1010 in 2nd half). I've read somewhere that Burrell made some adjustments during last season. He always had the talent to be a great hitter, so maybe he finally figured it out.

Yup, thats partially why I'm not to worried to sell him. The 2 leagues I have him in are OPS leagues (H2HWS) so his goes up a notch.
