Yahoo Waivers Question about dates

Okay, someone in my league dropped John Maine. I have the 11th waiver, so I doubt I'll even be able to pick him up but...

His name says John Maine - W (Apr 22). Does that mean waiver requests are valid all the way through Tuesday until 12:00 AM (the start of Wednesday)?

I'd like to spot start a certain pitcher for his Tuesday start tomorrow, Aprill 22. Could I add that pitcher tonight, then drop him tomorrow afternoon, still in time for my John Maine Waiver request?

You'll be able to do this.When you place your waiver tonight it'll say "Pitcher X" for John Maine pending until April 22nd.The waiver gets processed on April 22nd(Tuesday) but won't reflect on your lineup till April 23rd(Wednesday).
