Top Button?

Postby RenPastana » Mon Apr 21, 2008 3:11 pm

I maybe completely wrong here but I have noticed most, if not ALL players, have their top button buttoned on their jerseys this season so far. I remember it used to be the norm or superstition over the past few years when players used to leave the topmost button unbuttoned.

Anyway, have any of you guys heard of a new dress code in MLB?

I think they are all doing out of respect for Craig Biggio and his professionalism pertaining to his appearance. I think.

I am last in my league in players who button that top button. :~(

Last night I was psyched to see that Jacoby Ellsbury had it closed when he undid it by the 8th inning...losing me a TBC. Dang it!!
My Friendliness bar...recently shrunk from 11.3 to 10mm long!!

How did they measure this category in the '70s?
It would have been like CG is now.

It's just something I noticed...both the NFL and NBA have all kinds of dress code rules so I think Bud Selig is trying to be more like his colleagues
