I would love to see a solid start this week so I can try and sell him high.

It is too late to sell high now, as a Bedard owner I am just hoping I can still sell at a reasonable price.

You'd be surprised, there are still many people out there who are very high on Bedard.

His numbers so far aren't bad. If he has a good start this week they will actually look pretty damn good. Couple that with his ranking (in my case its Yahoo) and his ADP there's still a very good chance of selling him high.

We have to remember that not everyone reads the cafe forums. Around here its been all doom and gloom about the guy these last few weeks. But to most managers he's only missed a couple starts due to a hip problem which will probably scare a lot less people away than say an arm issue would.

If he bombs his start this week and goes back on the DL I'd say us Bedard owners are screwed but right now I think he's definitely tradeable for close to comparable value.

The Mariners are now looking at bringing Erik Bedard (hip) back to start Saturday against the Angels.
Jarrod Washburn will start Thursday, with Miguel Batista following on Friday. Both will be going on normal rest following Monday's off day.

If Bedard is lights out Satruday, how many owners will try to trade him asap?

With his delivery + the hip, could mean lingering DL stints. It would be very tough not to trade Bedard for a $18-20 SP.
