I was a big fan of this guy coming into this season for the same reason I was a big Dave Bush fan going into last season: the outstanding K/BB ratio. Because he doesn't give up free passes and has a pretty good strikeout rate I think he can keep it up, at least to some degree. At the very least his K and WHIP numbers should continue to look good, and I don't think his ERA will jump too high, maybe something like 4.25.

He was very solid down the stretch last year and IMO he is the Twins ace this year. He's got very good control and has been keeping hitters off balance with his refined stuff. The only thing that has hurt him this year is home runs, but if he keeps those down he should have no problem posting an ERA in the mid to high 3's. The question is how many wins he will get, but he should post a solid ERA with good K totals.

Baker will be at the worst a solid fantasy starter. Worth a spot on most any teams roster. Should have a nice ERA and WhIP with solid K's. Pitching for Minn could mke the wins hard to come by, but who knows. Baker will be better this year than last year. If he is still available pick him up.
