Lind is hitting 369/.385/.655 since being called up in June.
I couldn't say whether he'll be moved up in the lineup. Cito doesn't want to put unwanted pressure on him higher up in the lineup, if that makes any sense.

A couple years down the road, I can see him hitting 20 to 25 bombs a year and have a respectful batting average. I don't think he has 30HR power and he won't help you in SB. In comparison to Rios, Lind doesn't have as high a ceiling, but I can see him being more consistent than Rios from year to year.

So is he the type of player one should be excited about if they could say pick him up off FA and own him dirt cheap through 2012?
Lind finally got moved up in the order... hopefully he can continue producing, though I don't foresee it being a problem From Yahoo:
LF Adam Lind batted sixth on Sunday marking the highest spot he's hit in the batting order this season. Lind, who is hitting .397 in July (27-for-68), has batted in ninth spot 14 times, eighth 11 times and seventh on seven occasions.
